Welcome to the Okinawa Shorin-Ryu Matsumura Seito Karate & Kobudo Federation
Shorin-Ryu is a 300-year old system of self-defense that involves punching, kicking, grappling, and throwing. This, combined with applying pressure points and joint manipulation creates a very effective method of defending against single or multiple attackers.
Karate involves learning self-confidence, self-discpline, and builds self-esteem . Our style also incorporates Japanese customs, history, and language in our class curriculum. We are looking forward to having you as a student in our dojo as it takes a special person to to be a karate student, one who walks the path. It takes a person with high morals and respect for self and others, to be one of these special people. If this defines what you're looking for then by all means continue to view this website for valuable information.
